The Mathematics department of Bredasdorp High School helped the school celebrate Pi Day. Some of the festivities include the maths teachers wearing PIneapple socks or PIesang (banana) socks. Mr Retief was extra creative and wore a carrot tie with orange sock to represent square root of PI (1.7724…).
Thank you to the maths department for spoiling the staff with PIneapple juice and PIesang (banana) bread.
The learners celebrated the day with a PIe eating competition. Grade 8, 9 and 10 representatives competed against Mr Rossouw. Congrats to Elam Mkapheni (grade 10) on wining the competition.
