ROBOTICS – HACKATHON

On Saturday, 17 August, Janko Rossouw and Abri Janse Van Vuuren partook in the Inaugural Hackathon organised by the Coding and Robotics team from the WCED hosted at CPUT. 12 Schools took part in the senior section. Their task was to build a smart house for the now infamous,Ms Sara Jacobs. They were asked to use a variety of sensors and motors to compete the task. The sensors included motion, temperature and light detectors. Our BDs achieved an overall 5th place. It was a great experience to participate and meet like minded learners.
