Bredasdorp High School expressed their sincere appreciation to the WKOD for funding the solar panels project during a thank you event in the school hall on September 17, This is a great privilege for which the school is very grateful. The school can therefore function optimally during power outages and effective teaching to handle syllabus meaningfully can continue. The speakers during the event were Mr. Jaco Louw (chairman governing body) and Mr. Joaniel Pieterse (circle manager and WKOD representative).
Other invited guests were representatives of the solar company, Diverso, who was in charge of the installation, sir. Raubie Botha and Stephan Malan. Esteemed members of the governing body who also attended the event were Dr Isaac Pretorius, Ms Louise Wessels and Dr Barto Saayman.
Thank you to Mr Antonie du Toit and Dr Isaac Pretorius for many hours of planning and input to make this project a success.
The input of all those involved to successfully handle this project is definitely highly appreciated.
