MATRIC OUTING DAY

The 106 matrics of 2024 started their last day of school today with an early morning coffee and biscuits with their parents, families and staff. The tears were already shallow, but after a remembrance closing ceremony in the school hall during which Janell Diedricks (gr 11) and their classmate, Esihle Maqhutyana, performed their attendance, many parent, learner and teacher could no longer hold back the tears. The matrix was noticeably worn during the guard of honour by the teachers. The staff encouraged and gave advice to the matrics for the last time, after which they had the opportunity to ring the school bell as a farewell greeting. NSS exam will start on 21 October. We wish the BD matrics success. Remember, your future begins with the effort you put in today.
