Congratulations to Bredasdorp High School’s choir, led by Mrs Simóne Rossouw, who was named Number 4 in South Africa at the recent Allegretto National Interprovincial Eisteddfod. This Eisteddfod takes place annually in all nine provinces. Since this is a nationwide eisteddfod, judging takes place at various venues throughout the year.
The national list could only be announced during November after all rounds were completed. The final top 10 list will be posted on the Eisteddfod’s website within the next week. According to these results, the choir is therefore currently listed as the number 1 Allegretto Choir in the Western Cape.
We are very proud of each student of the choir who made this excellent achievement possible with dedication, discipline and a love for the arts and music.
