CONSUMERS AND HOSPITALITY SKILLS
Congratulations to Ina-Mari Augustyn, grade 11, who participated in a Consumers and Hospitality Skills Competition on Saturday, 2 September in Bellville.
Only three learners in the entire Overberg district could participate where Ina-Mari was one of the learners chosen to partake in this big competition.
Not only did she plan, practice and prepare a lot in the weeks leading up to the competition, but she finished in the top 10.
She cooked for 5 hours where she made delicious homemade chicken pizza and the classic cinnamon pancakes to perfection.
She received high praise from the teachers and the judges. Ina-Mari is a very humble and talented student. She truly enjoyed the competition and is tremendously thankful for the opportunity to be apart of such a prestigious competition.
Well done to her and her supportive family who guided and supported her throughout the day.
